When We Could See John Cena vs Brock Lesnar

Cena & Brock could fight in Indy.

On Monday, word came out that WWE was looking to run a PLE in Indianapolis on September 20. The date is actually the same day that AEW will be in Toronto for All Out. Some online have said they heard a Bad Blood event could be coming in September, and WWE may have a big main event for the show as well.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, he was talking about WWE running a main roster PLE in September and noted how that show is where we will get the John Cena versus Brock Lesnar match.

“It can change, but the main event for this show is Brock Lesnar and John Cena. So it’s a big one. Which is why Brock’s not in Paris, is because of this. They wanted him for this show, not the Paris show, and that’s where Logan Paul got the gig.”

Some have said how it is odd that Brock appeared at SummerSlam and is not on the next big show. Yet SummerSlam is their second biggest weekend of the year, so to capitalize on the buzz, bringing Lesnar back there would have more eyeballs on it than bringing him back in Paris to then build to Indianapolis.
