Well Over A Dozen Names Missing From The 2020 WWE Draft

17 current main roster members not listed for the draft.

Tomorrow night kicks off the two-night WWE Draft. Earlier today the rules and the pools were announced for the said draft. Who can be announced during Smackdown only and during RAW only does make things very interesting. With seeing these pools, we have also got a look at who is not going to be drafted to either RAW or Smackdown and essentially be a free agent.

When looking at the pools, 17 names from the current main roster were missing. As we saw last year, anyone out with an injury was not listed. That is the same for this year along with a few others as well.

Becky Lynch – Currently out after announcing she is pregnant back in May.

Big Show – Was not in the 2019 WWE Draft. Has appeared on television multiple times over the last few months.

Bo Dallas – Reportedly requested time off in late 2019. Has not competed since November of 2019.

Edge – Currently out of action with a tricep injury.

Forgotten Sons – Pulled from television earlier this year after a controversial tweet by Jaxson Ryker. No timetable given for a return.

Goldberg – Has hit his two matches a year contractual obligations. Last appeared at Wrestlemania dropping the Universal title to Braun Strowman. Was not in the 2019 WWE Draft.

Ivar – Currently out of action with a cervical injury.

Jimmy Uso – Currently out of action with a knee injury.

Jinder Mahal – Current out of action with a knee injury.

John Cena – Has not been listed on a specific brand for the last few years. Was not in the 2019 WWE Draft and last appeared on Smackdown & WrestleMania 36.

Mojo Rawley – No reason to not be included in the draft. Rumored to have been under a mask with RETRIBUTION recently. Last wrestled on the June 15th Smackdown.

Sonya Deville – Lost a loser leaves WWE match to Mandy Rose at SummerSlam.

Singh Bros. – No reason to not be included in the draft. Have not appeared on WWE television since before the pandemic.

The 2020 WWE Draft kicks off tomorrow night on Friday Night Smackdown with the first 35 picks of the draft and the overall number one draft pick being drafted.
