Wednesday Night Ratings For 1/29 Sees A Small Gap Between The Two Shows

The week the gap was only 14,000 viewers.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 734,000 viewers. This is down roughly 15% from last week’s show that drew 854,000 viewers. This week saw a drop of 120,000 viewers. This week’s NXT drew 720,000 viewers. This week was up 9% from last week’s show that drew 659,000 viewers. This week saw a 61,000 viewer increase. Overall with non-news programming on cable, the LA Lakers/Philadelphia 76ers game on ESPN won the night with over 1.7 million viewers.

As far as demographics go, in the 18-49 demo, AEW drew a .29, and NXT drew a .21. In the 18-34 demo, AEW drew a .14, and NXT drew a .11. In the 50+ demo, AEW drew a .27, and NXT drew a .35. In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW was ranked 6th and NXT was ranked 24th for all cable programming. Overall the night was won by the NBA game on ESPN that drew a .65.
