Wednesday Night Ratings For 1/14 See Big Split In Ratings

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 762,000 viewers. This is us 14% from last week’s show that drew 662,000 viewers. This week saw a 100,000 viewer increase from the previous week. This week’s NXT drew 551,000 viewers. This is down 15% from last week’s show that drew 641,000 viewers. This week saw a 90,000 viewers decrease from the previous week. On cable for non-new programming, the night was won by the Brooklyn Nets/New York Knicks NBA game on ESPN with over 1.1 million viewers. New dominated the night though.
As far as the demographics go, in the 18-49 demo, AEW drew a .30, and NXT drew a .15. In the 18-34 demo, AEW drew a .15 and a .26 in the 50+ demo. In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW was ranked 31st and NXT was ranked 70th. With NXT ranking 70th that is why we did not have more than just the 18-49 numbers. The night was dominated by news on cable with new programming taking the top 15 spots.
