WATCH: Rhea Ripley Shuts Down Rumors On Her Current Status

On Tuesday it was reported by PWInsider that former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley had to return to her home country of Australia. It was stated that this happened because her work visa had expired and she had to return to Australia before getting it reinstated.
Well, that now does not look like the full story as Ripley herself took to social media to at lead shut down one part of the rumor. Ripley posted a quick video on her Instagram Story stating that she is in fact still in the United States.
As far as the story of her work visa expiring, that was not addressed in this post. It is still unknown if she is going to miss any time on NXT and if we do hear anything further on Ripley’s status we will keep you updated.
