Vince McMahon Documentary Reported Canceled By Netflix
July 8, 2022WWE not longer working with Netflix.
We had heard for some time now that WWE was working with Netflix on a documentary after Vince McMahon. Outside of the initial announcement of the project not much more was ever stated on how it was going, its production, and when it could possibly be released. Yet now it looks as if it will never be released at Netflix.
According to Denise Salcedo, she reports the project has been dropped by the streaming service. The report notes how the project has been pulled from the programing spreadsheet at Netflix with one source saying “that shit’s out of here.” The report also noted how millions have been spent on the project and that talent interviews took place months ago with the documentary being “deep” in post-production.
Another source indicated that the project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent. I spoke to one of the producers on the project, however they declined to confirm nor deny this story to me. (2/2)

It is unclear how far along the project was at Netflix and when it could have been released, yet it is not anymore. Being deep in post-production does lead me to beleive that there was a chance this thing was close to being completed. Now we do know that WWE had final say on the final cut of the documentary, but without knowing how far along it actually was, we don’t know if it was even at the stage yet or not.
If we do hear anything else regarding this Vince McMahon documentary seemingly being canceled by Netflix, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
