Vickie Guerrero Makes AEW Debut

It looks as if a former Smackdown General Manager worked for AEW tonight.

With AEW Dark, AEW likes to use that as a way to show diversity, diversity specifically on commentary. Each week Excalibur is joined on commentary by the different talent and former talent for different matches on the show. This week they brought in a former Smackdown General Manager to call a match on AEW Dark.

Prior to AEW Dynamite going live tonight in Garland, Texas, they filmed AEW Dark and Excalibur was joined by Vickie Guerrero. The word from people live in the arena was that Guerrero got a monster reaction from the crowd and in a good way. It is unclear if this is just a one-off thing or if AEW would be interested in using Guerrero more down the road.

AEW ring announcer Justin Roberts tweeted about Vickie Guerrero’s appearance saying she was a great surprise for the live crowd.
