USA Network ‘Furious’ After RAW’s Record Low Rating

USA Network ‘Furious’ After RAW’s Record Low Rating

The USA Network wants changes to RAW.

This past week Monday Night RAW recorded its lowest rating ever with 1.526 million viewers averaged over the three-hour show. This was of course down from the week before that drew 1.736 million viewers and down from last year that drew 2.053 million viewers. The USA Network is now calling for a change.

According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, McCarthy reports that the USA Network is furious over the rating from this week’s show. In turn, they have asked for more adult content on the show by way of the show being darker and having more adult violence.

“USA Network are furious,” the source said. “They want more adult content. Not sexy adult, but dark and violent adult.”

The report would go on to state that WWE hopes they can turn things around going into the Royal Rumble. They can use that as some sort of a ‘big reset’ for them. Yet nothing was mentioned on what that reset could bring for the red brand on the USA Network.

If we do hear anything further on the USA Network not being happy with this week’s RAW ratings and wanting more adult content, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
