Updated Continental Classic Standings Following 11/27 Dynamite
November 27, 2024The standings have been updated after three matches.
Tonight All Elite Wrestling kicked off their Continental Classic tournament. A points-based tournament that will conclude at the Worlds End pay-per-view. Three matches took place on the 11/27 Dynamite from Chicago and we have the match results and official updated standings.
In the opening match of Dynamite we saw a Blue League match where Shelton Benjamin defeated mark Briscoe. The win earns Benjamin three points and put him at the top of the Blue League.
When it comes to the Gold League, we first saw 1/3 of the AEW World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli defeating Ricochet. While in the main event of the show Brody King was able to pick up a win over Darby Allin in a rematch from the AEW WrestleDream event. Both men earned themselves three points tied now at the top. The two will also face off in a tournament match next week on Dynamite.

The continental classic will see each man face one another in the league once before we make it to Worlds End. At the pay-per-view the Gold League winner will face the Blue League runner-up and the Blue League winner will face the Gold League runner-up in the semi-finals. The two winners of those matches will meet in the finals and walk out the new Continental Champion.
