Update On The Status Of The NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles
July 20, 2022There are still nxt women’s tag team champions.
Two weeks ago Cora jade and Roxanne Perez defeated Toxic attraction to become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then last week when Perez was challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship, Jade turned on her and cost her the match. This week we ended up seeing Cora Jade throw her tag team title in the trash. That led to questions on the status of the NXT Women Tag Team Championships and now we may have a slight update.
If you go on the superstars page on the WWE website and look at all of the champions in the company they still have Roxanne Perez as one-half of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. The other is listed as ‘Vacant’ and it has not been noted who or how they will decide who the other champion will be. Perez was not on NXT this week, yet one thing they could do is allow Perez to hand pick a new partner to be champions with her.
Now since Perez was not on the show to address Cora Jade throwing her title away that is why she is still listed as one-half of the champions. There is a chance that Perez could say if Cora does not want to be champions with me then I don’t want to be champions either and they end up just in a singles feud that has nothing to do with the tag team titles.
If we do hear anything else regarding the status of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships, we will have it here or on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
