Update On Taya Valkyrie’s Current Status With IMPACT
January 19, 2021Taya may be done with IMPACT.
This past Saturday night at the IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view we saw Taya Valkyrie challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship. Valkyrie was unsuccessful in her attempt and that may have been her final match with the company.
We have been told here at PWUnlimited that Taya did not stay in Nashville for the IMPACT Wrestling tapings over the last few days. As we tweeted last night she left Nashville on Sunday morning and flew to Orlando. Taya also posted on her Instagram that she was celebrating her dog’s birthday with NXT personalities Vic Joseph and Mikenzie Mitchelle.
So an interesting non #WWRaw note. After the #HardToKill event, Taya did not stay in Nashville & instead of going home to Los Angeles, she flew to Orlando.

Fightful has also confirmed that Taya was not at the IMPACT Tapings.
The word is that Taya is now a free agent and her contract expired at the start of the year. Taya revealed last year that she signed a two-year deal with IMPACT at the start of 2019.
