Update On Lucha Bros Expected To Leave AEW For WWE

Penta & Fenix in AEW is not for long.

For a little while now it has been reported and rumored that The Luga Bros contacts are coming up later this year. It was also stated that there was interest in WWE for the two and the two were expected to at least hear what WWE has to offer. Now it is being reported that them leaving for WWE is very possible.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that AEW has wanted to re-sign the two but things keep getting delayed. Over the last few weeks, it started to become very evident that they were not looking to sign a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. It was also reported that the expectation I the duo going to WWE and internal discussion of bringing them in have happened.

Those Fightful spoke to state that the two want to come in as a package deal and do not want to go to NXT. One course close to the duo says it would not be a surprise the see the two in Orlando sooner rather than later. In the most surprising thing is that they’ve had numerous sources say they are pretty open in claiming they had WWE talks already and there is a preliminary offer on the table similar to that of what AEW has been offering.
