Update On Jacob Fatu’s Possible Leg Injury

Last night in the main event of SummerSlam we saw Jacob Fatu give Cody Rhodes a big splash from the top rope onto the announce table. When Fatu came down on the announce table the lower part of his right leg looked to hit the edge of the table and Fatu immediately grabbed it in pain. He tried to stand up and fell right over not being able to put pressure on it at the moment.
Following the match and the show going off the air a video surfaced showing Fatu being helped to the back while limping. Bryan Alvarez stated on the Bryan & Vinny Show that he was told that Fatu was injured but had no further details.

Today a video surfaced from the HaroonTwins showing them meeting Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at a store and Fatu can be seen in a walking boot.
Yet today Dave Meltzer wrote in the Observer Daily Update that at one time Fatu selling the leg to be down when Roman Reigns came out was planned. He mentioned Fatu in the walking boot and stated some in the company do think Fatu could have suffered an ankle injury, but nobody at a top level who would know the nature of this could confirm it. Despite all that, it seems as if some sort of an injury or Fatu at least getting even a little hurt actually happened.
