Update On Bryan Danielson’s Status & Physical State Ahead Of All In
July 28, 2024Time is running out for Bryan Danielson.
It is no secret that when Bryan Danielson’s current contract with AEW runs out he has no intention of signing a new one that will keep him locked in as a full-time pro wrestler. He promised his daughter when she hits a certain age he will tone down his career and that is exactly what he plans to do. Now we have learned that things Bryan said last Wednesday on Dynamite are more reality than storyline.
Last Wednesday there was a segment with Bryan Danielson and Renee Paquette where Danielson said between now and AEW All In, Doc Sampson has advised him not to wrestle so he can heal up his body. According to a new report from Fightful, they report that that is not a work but a real deal. They state that heavy restrictions have been placed on Danielson by the AEW doctor leading into the August pay-per-view in London.
Sources in AEW confirmed to Fightful that Danielson is beat up and the plan has long been for him to main event All In this year. To make sure that happens Danielson has been prevented from doing things along the way that were originally planned.
When it comes to Danielson’s contract, he himself stated that it will expire on August 1st and this is also real. At this time once it does expire, there is a plan for him to continue to work with the company for numerous dates, not just All In at the end of the month. The expectation is that he will remain as a part-time wrestler only if that at all when his deal does expire.
Brian Danielson has stated before that despite slowing down and not wanting to be a full-time wrestler past this year, he does plan to continue to wrestle in some capacity for the rest of his life.
