Update At Brian Cage Signing With AEW, Reportedly Still A Free Agent

On Sunday night SocCalUncensored reported that Brian Cage had signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling. That same night, Cage’s wife Melissa Santos took to Twitter to debunk the story. She said her husband had not signed with anyone and the reports were news to her.

Now according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Cage, in fact, has not signed with anyone yet. Johnson states that Cage’s last deal with IMPACT Wrestling has expired and he is currently a free agent. The report reiterates that Cage has multiple deals he is mulling over. In the original report, it was stated that IMPACT, AEW, and ROH  have sent Cage offers with ROH being the biggest offer money-wise.

As of right now, no company has announced anything as far as if they have signed Cage. Whether that is IMPACT saying he is staying with them or either AEW or ROH announcing him as a new signee. Also outside of his wife saying the report was false Cage’s side has not said anything on his future.

We do know that Cage is dealing with a bicep injury so that could hinder any plans as it is unknown how bad the injury is and how long he will have to be out of action. Cage is advertised for the Bar Wrestling show on January 23 in Southern California. If we do hear anything further on where Brian Cage could end up in 2020 we will keep you updated.
