Two Title Matches Announced For Next Week’s Smackdown

Tag teams will shine next week.

Next week Friday Night Smackdown will come to us from Cleveland, Ohio, and will be the final show before SummerSlam. Coming out of tonight’s show two title matches were announced for next week both being for tag team championships.

First, we learned that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line when Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre defend against the former champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. On tonight’s show, the challengers called out the champions but were attacked from behind by Dawn and Fyre. Yet in the end, Belair and Cargill did stand tall over the champions.

We also did learn tonight that the WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line next week when DIY will defend the title against The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. Tonga and Fatu earned this title shot after winning a six-team gauntlet match on tonight’s show.
