Two Teams Advance, More Dusty Classic First Round Matches Set For Next Week

Two teams out four more to go.

Tonight NXt kicked off the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with two first-round matches. The first round saw the NXT Tag Team Champions Boby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly defeat the NXT UK Tag Team Champions Wolfgang and Mark Coffey to advance to the second round. The other first-round match saw Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner defeat Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler.

As far as next week goes, we will conclude the first round when Kushida and Alex Shelley takes on Zack Gibson and James Drake. In the second match we will see Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne take on Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.
