Two New Matches Officially Added To Tonight’s Smackdown

We know more for Smackdown from Salt Lake City.

Friday Night Smackdown tonight comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah and it is a double taping. WWE will do a live edition of Smackdown and then tape next week’s show right after. As far as the live show, two new matches have been confirmed for the show.

First off as reported earlier by WrestleVotes, WWE has confirmed that LA Knight will defend the United States Championship against Santos Escobar. As we saw last week, Escobar wanted to challenge Knight for the title but Knight ended up giving the title shot to Berto instead.

We also know that on tonight’s show, we will see Bayley team up with Naomi to take on the team of Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton. This plays off the four along with Nia Jax being involved in a feud for many many weeks now. Over the last two weeks, Bayley has been able to get the best of LeRae. Two weeks ago in a singles match and last week in a triple threat in the Women’s US Title tournament. Naomi also has a win over LeRae back on the October 25th Smackdown.
