Two Big Returns Take Place At NXT TakeOver 31

The NXT women’s roster just got stronger.

many people say that the best female women’s division right now is the NXT women’s division. They have names like Io Shirai, Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, and others. last night two popular women have come back to NXT.

Last night at NXT TakeOver 31, after Io Shirai defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LaRae Toni Storm appeared on the big screen. She stated that she is coming to NXT and for the title. Toni Storm has been signed to WWE for a few years now but has never been officially part of the NXT roster. She has worked the Mae Young Classic tournament and was a former NXT UK Women’s Champions.

After Storm appeared on the screen we then got a shot of the NXT mystery person. Many thought at this moment it was Toni Storm coming into the arena. When the mystery person entered out on the ramp they took their time taking their helmet off. When the helmet came off it was not Toni Storm, but a returning Ember Moon. Moon has been out of action since late summer 2019 with an Achilles injury. We last saw Moon part of the Smackdown and it’s awesome to see her back in NXT where she is a former champion.
