Triple H Confirms A WWE Draft Later This Year

Another shakeup is coming in the WWE.

Back in 2016 when WWE implemented a new brand split and held a draft. Over the next year or two they did Superstar Shakeups the switch people between brands. Then last year when WWE moved Smackdown to FOX they held another draft to move some from one brand to another.

Earlier this year rumors started going around that WWE was going to do another draft this year. The word is that is was supposed to happen at the end of August but kept getting pushed back. Now it looks like the draft could be taking place in October. Today Triple H did a media call ahead of this weekend’s NXT TakeOver XXX was asked about wrestler working for specific brand with NXT now on television and where Triple H confirmed a draft is coming later this year.

“That definitely has changed that mindset, there is different protocols and procedures, hey, we’d like to move this talent, we’d like to do that, and you’ll see that coming up in the Draft later in the year. “

WWE has not yet announced a 2020 Draft thus far. Again the last report on this was that the draft will most likely happen in October.
