Triple Brand Number One Contender Battle Royal Next Week On Smackdown

Next week one person will earn a title shot at SummerSlam.

Bayley and Sasha Banks hold all the gold in the WWE women’s division. It is basically obvious that Sasha Banks will defend the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam against Asuka. Yet a challenger for Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Title needs to be determined and will be next week.

Tonight on Smackdown, Bayley and Sasha were summoned to the ring for a video conference with Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie at first complimented the two on winning all gold. She did make it clear she did not like how that happened and talked about Banks possibly defending her RAW Women’s title at SummerSlam against Asuka. She then said an opponent was needed for Bayley. Stephanie would then announce a triple brand battle royal with women from RAW, Smackdown, and NXT. The winner will earn a Smackdown Women’s Title shot against Bayley at SummerSlam.
