𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎: Top WWE Superstar Sent To Rehab After Failed Second Drug Test In Six Months

One WWE Superstar was written of TV due to a failed drug test.

WWE has a strict policy when it comes to drug testing even though they have got a little more relaxed with it recently. WWE no longer tests for marijuana yet takes testing for other drugs very seriously. With that, it is being reported that one top WWE Superstars recently failed a drug test which would be their second failure this year.

According to Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, Haynes reports that former RAW Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle was written off television last week due to failing a drug test. The report states that this is the second failure for Riddle this year with the first come right before SummerSlam. That first failed drug test is actually what resulted in Riddle’s match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam being pushed back to Clash at the Castle.

The report would go on to state that the company informed Riddle at the time of the first failure that another would result in a “rehab or fired” which was a similar situation that happened with Jeff Hardy. The belief is that Riddle has already entered into treatment and will be done soon as most last about 30 days and he will have to get it done quickly to be back in the six weeks WWE stated he will be out for.

Finally, the report states that they asked for clarification on what Riddle may have failed for and was only told that it was not marijuana since WWE no longer tests for that.
