Top WWE Superstar Not Cleared, Should Be By SummerSlam

Coming up on Saturday, August 3 is WWE’s biggest party of the summer with SummerSlam. SummerSlam will come to us from Cleveland Browns Stadium with four matches so far set for the show. Yet one match has a wrestler in it who is reportedly not 100% cleared yet.
Last night on Monday Night RAW it was announced that Liv Morgan will defend the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. Ripley has been out of action for the last three months with a shoulder injury, yet Ripley has yet to be fully cleared to return to the ring.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that as of last night, Ripley has not been 100% cleared for physicality hence why she was not physical at all on the show. Sources expect the process of her being cleared to be completed by SummerSlam though. She will not have any sort of physical interaction before she is cleared, so there will be a lot of teasing things till the clearance is confirmed.
It is interesting that WWE announced the match as official before Ripley has been cleared yet it does show that WWE is very confident that Ripley will be cleared in the next few weeks.
