Top Star No Longer Advertised For WrestleMania Backlash

Top Star No Longer Advertised For WrestleMania Backlash

One top WWE star is no longer set for Backlash.

Coming up on May 8th is WrestleMania Backlash from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. So far two matches have been announced for the show with Charlotte Flair versus Ronda Rousey and Cody Rhodes versus Seth Rollins. Both are rematches from WrestleMania, yet now we know of one WrestleMania main eventer who is no longer being advertised for the show.

When you go to the WrestleMania Backlash page on the WWE website they have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch advertised for the show. One name who was advertised on this page that is no longer is former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was actually removed from the tickets page sometime this week. The poster of WWE’s website has been updated from one showing Reigns, Lesnar, Rousey, Lynch, Banks, and Flair. To a new one just featuring Edge.

Some thought initially it was interesting for Lesnar to be advertised for the show in the first place. WrestleMania Backlash is not a show you would expect to see Lesnar work. For him to now be pulled from the advertised wrestlers is honestly not that big of a shocker.

If we do hear anything else on Lesnar no longer being advertised for WrestleMania Backlash, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
