Top Smackdown Star Possibly Injured At Live Event
January 2, 2022One Smackdown superstar may have suffered a leg injury tonight.
Tonight WWE ran a Supershow Live Event in Fayetteville, North Carolina. On the show, the Smackdown Women’s Championship was on the line when Charlotte Flair defended against Sasha Banks. The match itself did not end according to plan.
During the match and as you can see in the video below, Banks took an over the knee backbreaker from Flair and landed awkwardly on her left leg. Flair went for the cover as Banks kicked out. The referee then checked on Banks and the match went immediately to the finish with Flair pinning Banks. The referee then threw up the dreaded ‘X’ and Banks had to be helped to the back.

We were told that Banks was being checked out in the back after the match, yet it in unclear if she did in fact suffer an injury or not.
