Top NXT Star Possibly Injured During ‘Scary Moment’ At Tapings, Match Stopped & Restarted

A scary moment took place at this week’s NXTtapings after one wrestler was dropped on their head.

This week WWE taped two episodes of NXT, last night’s show, and next week’s show. On next week’s show, we do know that Johnny Gargano will be taking on Ridge Holland with the winner advancing to the ladder match at TakeOver for the vacant North American Title.

According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, he reports that in the Gargano vs Holland match Gargano was dropped on his head and the match itself had to be stopped. The report goes on to state that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels came down to the ring to check on Gargano and things were stopped for multiple minutes.

The report goes on to state that the match was restarted and Gargano was able to complete the match. Gargano was cleared to continue the match that will air on next week’s show. At this time it is not known if the incident was the fault of Gargano or Holland. Also, there are no spoilers regarding who ended up winning the match.
