Top NXT Star Expected On RAW Monday, Possible WrestleMania Match Spoiler

Another WrestleMania match could be set Monday.

WrestleMania is less than three months away and the lineup is slowly starting to leak. With that, it looks like one former NXT Champion is coming to the RAW brand this Monday and will set up a top title match at WrestleMania.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that former NXT Champion Shayna Baszler is slated to be moved to the RAW brand full time and soon. Meltzer states that this has been something that the company has wanted to do for almost a year now and had to wait for the right time.

In an update to this from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Baszler is expected to be on the February 9th edition of Monday Night RAW next week in Ontario, California. Baszler is expected to challenge Becky Lynch to a match at WrestleMania for the RAW Women’s Championships.

This coming Monday, Lynch is scheduled to be defending the RAW Women’s Championship against Asuka. What we could see is Lynch retains and then says something about how good it feels to beat Asuka again and that she has beaten everyone. Cue Baszler and boom the challenge could be made there.
