Top AEW Star Suffers Broken Wrist

One of AEW top stars is out hurt.

As we have said before, wrestlers say most injuries come when you least expect them. Now it looks like one top AEW star and champion has once again been hit with the injury bug.

Current AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker revealed on Twitter Friday night that she suffered a broken write wrist on Dynamite this past week. This past week at Fyter Fest Night 2 she successfully defended her title against Nyla Rose, but not all went according to plan. Baker did say though that she will not be taking any time off due to the injury.

As of right now, it is not known exactly how bad the injury is and how long she will need to be out of action. Word is the injury came when she took a Death Valley Driver from Rose. AEW does have six weeks till the All Out pay-per-view in September so they can keep Baker on the show in a non-physical role while building up a challenger for that event given Baker is set to be cleared by then.

This would be the second time this year that Baker was injured and taken out of action for a while. Then she still appeared on TV every week and we do not expect any less from the doctor this time as well.
