Top AEW Star Suffers An Injury On This Week’s Dynamite
July 21, 2022Not everyone got out of the barbwire unscathed.
Last night was AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest night two and the main event was a barbwire everywhere match between Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston. The match also saw the Jericho Appreciation Society hanging in a shark cage. In the end, Chris Jericho walked out victorious yet he also walked out hurt.
The former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho took to social media on Thursday and noted that he had to go to the doctor cause he suffered a broken nose in the Fyter Fest main event. Jericho also attached a video to the post that showed the leg of a steel chair hitting him in the face after giving Kingston a Codebreaker. Outside of revealing he suffered a broken nose, he did not state how severe the injury is.
Just left the doctors office. It’s official….that SAVAGE @MadKing1981 broke my nose last night. #barbwireeverywhere @AEW pic.twitter.com/1TVUxjUVZx

It is unclear if Jericho will need to miss any time from the ring following suffering a broken nose. There are many different types of broken nose injuries. Typically a broken nose takes roughly three weeks or so to heal.
If we do hear anything else regarding Chris Jericho suffering a broken nose on Dynamite, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
This was an excellent read. Very thorough and well-researched.
