Top AEW Star Lands Role In Final Season Of Cobra Kai

A pro wrestling will be in the Sekai Taikai.

Cobra Kai is a show based on the original Karate Kid movies that premiered on YouTube in 2018. After a few seasons, YouTube canceled that show and the highly popular series landed at Netflix to keep going. Since then we have sort of seen a pro wrestling tie-in as actor now MLW wrestler Paul Walter Hauser plays a character on the show named ‘Stingray’. Now a former AEW World Champion will be appearing during the show’s final season.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he reports that former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker has landed a role on Netflix’s Cobra Kai. Johnson states that Baker’s character is described as a “European fighter” on one of the teams competing in the tournament. Baker has already filmed her scenes including fight sequences prior to her AEW return and this did end up delaying that return.

Now for anyone who knows Cobra Kai, you know that the final season is being rolled out in three parts. Part one was released last month, part two drops in November with the final part slated for next March. If Baker is playing a “European fighter” then one would assume she will be part of one of the teams competing in the Sekai Taikai tournament.

Now based on past roles like this on the show, there is a good chance Baker may not have any actual lines and will just be fighting one of the main females on the show. With the opening ceremony of the tournament being the end of season six part one, one would also assume Baker’s role will be featured in part 2 set to release in November.

If we do hear anything further on Britt Baker landing a role on Cobra Kai, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
