๐๐๐๐๐๐: Tony Khan Has Private Meeting With Shane McMahon With โPossibilities Moving Forwardโ

A little over a month ago now the topic of Shane McMahon working with All Elite Wrestling started to circulate. This came from a question asked during Jim Ross’ podcast. It then blew up further when Conrad Thompson said that conversation sparked McMahon to reach out to him and others to gauge if there was even any interest in this. Since then Tony Khan has been asked about the possibility of McMahon coming to AEW where Khan has stated that the two had never talked before but that Khan was up to seeing if things could prosper. Now it looks like things could be moving forward here.
According to a new report from both Fightful and Wrestletalk, they report that this past Monday, July 29th, Tony Khan and Shane McMahon had a private meeting that took place in an office at a private Arlington airport. Sources state that the meeting took place to discuss the โpossibilities moving forwardโ. Sean Ross Sapp noted that Khan had been “Open” to talking with McMahon for a while now. Khan has apparently been “very open” to “using” Shane McMahon for several weeks now as he has said in a few different interviews since the topic started circulating.
At this time there are no other details on the meeting itself. It is not known how it actually went and what specifics were discussed. Now for anyone who may be skeptical that this meeting even took place, you can see the photo below posted by Wrestletalk showing Tony Khan and Shane McMahon together.
Now the timing of this meeting is very interesting as we are now less than a month away from AEW All In, the company’s biggest show of the year as one would think if they could work with McMahon they would want him involved with that show in some capacity. It is not known that this could be the plan but just speculation based on what is coming up for AEW.
