ππππππ: Title Match Set For Tonight’s Smackdown Tapings

Tonight Friday Night Smackdown comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah. WWE has so far only announced two things for the show with a face-to-face between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owen as well as a triple threat match. Now a title match is reportedly set for the show.
According to a new tweet from WrestleVotes, they report that LA Knight will be defending the United States Championship tonight against Santos Escobar. Escobar tried to get this match last week and Knight gave it to Berto instead.
On the books for #SmackDown tonight from Salt Lake City: LA Knight vs Santos Escobar for the Menβs US Title along with Bianca Belair vs Blair Davenport vs Chelsea Green in a Womenβs US Title tournament match.

Now the one thing to look at is that tonight is a double taping in Salt Lake City. With that we do not know if this US Title match is taking place on the live show tonight or the show being taped for next week. next week’s show will be the go-home for Survivor Series.
