Title Match Set For Tonight’s RAW
August 11, 2025A match set for RAW is now a title match.
Tonight, RAW comes to us from Quebec City, and one change has already been made to the show with Naomi not being cleared to compete. Now, another change has been made, with one match being turned into a title match.
WWE has been advertising Becky Lynch versus Maxxine Dupri in a non-title match for the last week. This afternoon WWE has now changed it to advertising the match as a title match with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. This change was made after the NAOMI World Title match was pulled from the show.
During a backstage confrontation last week, Natalya stood up to Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, but Lynch wanted a match against Maxxine Dupri, Natalya’s Dungeon Dolls counterpart.
Tonight, Lynch will take on Dupri for the first time ever with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
Three things are set for RAW:
- CM Punk kicking off the show
- Sami Zayn vs Rusev
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri
