Title Match Officially Added To NXT TakeOver XXX
August 12, 2020Another Title match has been officially added to the next TakeOver.
Going into tonight’s NXT we knew of three official matches that were announced for NXT TakeOver XXX. Two title matches and the match between Adam Cole and Pat Mcafee. we knew that that the NXT Championship would be on the line of course and who would challenge the cham Keith Lee. Now tonight, that match was officially announced.
On tonight’s NXT, we saw Karrion Kross defeat Danny Burch. After the match, The NXT Champion Keith Lee came down to the ring to confront Kross. Kross got out of the ring and stated to retreat before Lee started saying things he wanted to hear. Keith Lee stated that he begged William Regal and got the match that Kross has been asking for approved. All they needed was Kross to sign the contract and make it official.
Kross signed the contract and when Scarlette passed it back to Lee all was not as it seemed. When Lee opened the folder a fireball went off in the champ’s face and he needed to be attended to by medical personnel.
