Title Match & Number One Contender Match & More Set For Next Two Weeks Of NXT

NXT loading up the next two weeks.

Tonight on NXT a number of matches were et for the next two weeks of NXT. They will conclude the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, find Rhea Ripley’s first challenger as champion and Strong will defend his belt.

In the main event of tonight’s show, we saw a fatal four-way number one contender’s match. The winner of the match will move on to challenge Roderick Strong for the NXT North American Championship. The finish of the match saw Keith Lee hit Cameron Grimes With a Spirit Bomb to pick up the victory. Lee will now challenge Strong in two weeks.

After his victory this week on NXT, Keith Lee has earned the right to challenge NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong, and will receive his title opportunity on the Jan. 22 edition of NXT on USA Network.

The Limitless One defeated Dominik Dijakovic, Damian Priest and Cameron Grimes in a Fatal 4-Way Match on Wednesday, setting up this showdown with Strong.

Can Lee dethrone Strong or will the champion continue to fulfill The Undisputed ERA’s golden prophecy?

As far as next week goes, they will hold a battle royal with the winner earning a title shot at Rhea Ripley and the NXT Women’s Championship. In the match will be Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Dakota Kai, Vanessa Borne, Kayden Carter, Mia Yim, Santana Garrett, Io Shirai, Shotzi Blackheart, and Xia Li.

NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley’s next challenger will be determined next Wednesday in a Battle Royal on USA Network.

Ripley got a taste of just how long the line may be for a chance at her title this week, when Toni Storm, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray, Bianca Belair, Io Shirai and even her friend Candice LeRae staked their claim to a title opportunity.

The Battle Royal will include Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Dakota Kai, Vanessa Borne, Kayden Carter, Mia Yim, Santana Garrett, Io Shirai, Shotzi Blackheart and Xia Li.

Who will stand tall at the end and earn the right to challenge The Nightmare?

Finally next week in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic we will see Kushida and Alex Shelley take on the Grizzled Young Veterans. In the final first-round match Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne will take on Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.
