Title Match & More Announced For Next Week’s Smackdown
October 9, 2020Smackdown is loading up their season premiere.
Next week Friday Night Smackdown will be celebrating the second season premiere on FOX. The show is being loaded up with some big matches including a Universal Championship match.
WWE has announced that next week on Smackdown Roman reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. This will come just a little over a week before he defends the title in an I Quite Hell In A Cell match against Jey Uso.
Also announced for next week will be a six-man tag team match branded as “The New Day’s Farewell To Smackdown.” The New Day will take on the team of Sheamus, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

It was also announced earlier in the week the 30 minutes prior to Smackdown, FOX will have a season premiere kickoff show. The kickoff show will be hosted by Renee Paquette (Young) and WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T.
