Title Match Announced For First Raw Of The New Year

WWE is looking to start off the new year strong.

Over the last few weeks WWE did multiple matches to crown the next number one contender to the RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. In the end, it was Alexa Bliss who became the next challenger for the champion who has held the title for over 260 days. Now we know when Bliss will challenge Belair for the title.

Tonight on RAW there was a sit down with Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss. Belair questioned Bliss about her actions last week where Bliss said she has no memory of putting her hands on Belair. Belair was not really buying it and basically said they will see what’s up when they fight for the title. As Belair was going to leave the room Bliss would attack her with a vase. That is when it was announced that the title match between the two will take place on the January 2nd episode of Monday Night RAW. This is the first RAW of 2023.
