Title Change Takes Place On Dynamite

A new champion was crown during the special Saturday Dynamite.

Tonight was a very special edition of AEW Dynamite on Saturday night. The night saw the main even with Cody defending the TNT Championship against The Dark Order’s Mr. Brodie Lee and this match did not go well for the self-proclaimed Prince of Pro wrestling.

The match itself was a very one-sided squash match with Mr. Brodie Lee dominating Cody throughout most of this match. Cody was a bat out of hell when the smell rang but within a 10 seconds Lee took over and never looked back destroying Cody in and out of the ring. Once Mr. Brodie Lee was in control, Cody never got another offensive move on the leader of The Dark Order. Lee would go on to defeat Cody and become the new TNT Champion.

After the match, the Dark Order would attack Cody, Arn Anderson, Brandi Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, and QTMarshall. With the entire Nightmare Family laid out, Lee would pour the shards of the old TNT Championship over Cody as the show went off the air.

Cody had held the title since it inspection at Double Or Nothing on May 23rd. Cody had defended the title against a number of men but tonight Mr. Brodi Lee was too much for Cody. With The Dark order attacking The Nightmare Family after the match, it looks like Cody and Mr Brodie Lee is not done and could have another match between the two.
