Title Change Takes Place At New Japan Road
February 21, 2020New Japan has new tag team champions.
Last night at the New Japan Road show we saw The Guerrillas of Destiny(Tama Tonga & Tana Loa) defending the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against The Golden Aces(Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kota Ibushi).
In the match, we saw the finish comes when Ibushi hit Tama Tonga with a series of kicks and then Tanahashi hit the High Fly Flow and pin Tama to pick up the victory and become the new champions. After the match was over the new tag team champions we attacked by Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi.

This marks the third time Hiroshi Tanahashi has won the Tag Team Championships in New Japan and the first time for Kota Ibushi has held the Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
