ThunderDome Registration Opens For Smackdown, Hits Capacity In Minutes

Fans came quick to be part of the WWE ThunderDome.

WWE announced this week that they are turning the Amway Center in Orlando into the WWE ThunderDome and fans can virtually be part of the shows. Last night during RAW they stated that you could sign up last night to be one of the virtual fans. The sign-ups ended up not going live till Tuesday night and when they did they were filled up in a matter of minutes.

As of right now, it is unclear what the number is as far as capacity goes and how many fans are going to be used on Smackdown. As far as other events, we have been told that sign-ups for SummerSlam on Sunday will open up later in the week, and then RAW for next Monday will be after SummerSlam is filled up. If it’s anything like tonight, that will not take long at all.

No other details have actually been given as far as what the experience will be for the fans who made it in and what they are and are not going to be able to do as virtual fans in the ThunderDome.

To be part of this fan experience, you can go to WWEThunderDome.com to sign up. Once we have more information on when the SummerSlam and RAW sign-ups go live we will bring that to you.
