Huge commitments farcing Rosa to vacate a title.

This past Wednesday night we saw Thunder Rosa defeat Britt Baker to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion. This is not the only title she holds and tonight she revealed that she will be vacating that other title.

Thunder Rosa revealed in a Twitter video that she will be relinquishing the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship on April 23rd. She noted “really huge commitments” coming in her career as the reason she has to drop the title.

“Dear Warrior Wrestling fans, family, friends, this is Thunder Rosa. It’s been an honor to serve you as the Women’s Champion here at Warrior Wrestling. From the bottom of my heart, it’s really hard to tell you that unfortunately due to some really huge commitments that are coming in my career, I will no longer be able to serve you as your champion.

I want to thank absolutely everyone from top to bottom in this organization for giving me the opportunity to represent women’s wrestling, Warrior Wrestling,  and the entire company. It’s been an honor as a wrestler to represent this championship and this company with honor and pride. So for the next person who will become the next women’s champion, I wish you the best and I hope you represent the company just as well or even better the way that I did. Thank you very much everyone and I love you. I love you very much.”

As of right now, Warrior Wrestling has not revealed who will be fighting for the soon to be vacant Women’s Championship.
