Thea Trinidad/Zelina Vega Signs New Deal, Not Allowed To Work With AEW
March 26, 2021Thea is no longer a free agent.
Back in November Thea Trinidad, the former Zelina Vega was released from WWE. It was stated that it was done after she violated WWE’s new “third part business” policy. She waited out her 90-day no-compete and was free to sign anywhere she wanted last month. Now it looks like she has signed somewhere.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that Trinidad has signed a new deal. The deal is said to be short-term, but it is unclear who she has signed with. It is also not known if this is even a wrestling company she has signed with. Meltzer would go on to state that the deal she has signed does not allow her to work for other wrestling companies and one of these companies she can not work with is All Elite Wrestling.
It is unknown exactly what Thea Trinidad will be doing next but it looks like whatever it is, is not a long-term thing. If we do hear anything else regarding this new deal signed by Thea Trinidad, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
