Tessa Blanchard Pulled From Independent Show Following Bullying Allegations
January 12, 2020Early Saturday morning Tessa Blanchard sent out a tweet asking women to support other women. That tweet opened the flood gates, not agreeing with Blanchard but basically calling her a hypocrite. She was accused of bullying others, spitting on others and even calling a woman of color a racial slur. These allegations prompted IMPACT Wrestling to not have Blanchard at their media event Saturday and it looks like other promotions have taken notice of this as well.
Next week Heavy Metal Wrestling is running a show in San Antonio, Texas and Blanchard were scheduled for the show. She was the focal point of all the posters and advertising but in light of these allegations, they have pulled her from the show. Sunday morning Heavy Metal Wrestling sent out the following tweet with the announcement,
Tessa Blanchard has been removed from our scheduled event on January 24th, 2020.
We take these allegations levied against her very seriously.
An updated card will be released shortly.

As of right now, Blanchard is still set to main event tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view where she will challenge for the IMPACT World Championship. So far Heavy Metal Wrestling is the only promotion to pulled Blanchard from their event and hopefully for her more do not follow suit.
