*UPDATE* Tessa Blanchard Accused of Bullying & Using Racial Slur Against Female Co-Workers
January 11, 2020Tessa Blanchard has really proven that in the ring and in front of the camera she may be one of if not the best female wrestlers in the world today. Yet, what you do off camera can have a bigger effect on your career no matter how good you may be in the squared circle.
Today, Blanchard sent out a tweet asking women to support one another.
The tweet itself was met with some unexpected responses from two former IMPACT Wrestling Champions that don’t look good on Blanchard. They state that Blanchard is the opposite of what she is asking for with this tweet. That she is a bully to others and even used a racial slur towards a woman of color.
Remember when you spat in a black woman’s face and called her the N-word in Japan? Was that you “supporting women“? The AUDACITY of this tweet https://t.co/P49uNWsqIH

You’ve consistently put down, bullied, and belittled countless female coworkers, including me. Is that support? https://t.co/MrOOksiijk

This is not a good look for Tessa Blanchard who is set to challenge Sammi Callihan tomorrow night at the IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view for the World Championship. The timing of these tweets and alligations could not come at a worse time for both Blanchard and IMPACT Wrestling. Some said it was obvious that Blanchard would win the title this weekend, but after these allegations, IMPACT may have to rethink their plans.
If we do hear anything further on said alligations and what it could mean for Blanchard going forward, as well as any plans IMPACT has for her, we will keep you updated.
*Update 1/11 @12:00pm PT*
Since both Allysin Kay and Chelsea Green tweeted their allegations, Blanchard herself responded.
*Update 1/11 @3:00pm PT*
Since they all started going public early Saturday morning more women have come out and talked about negative experiences with Blanchard or backing up Allysin Kay’s story. Even the women in question that Tessa allegedly spat on and called the N-word.
Remember publicly putting me down on twitter last year for something that didn’t involve you whatsoever, then continuing to drag my name to other people for it?

You should probably delete this tweet. https://t.co/MnsHVnwavU

The day I got the call from my gf La Rosa Negra of the incident- she made me promise to keep my mouth shut because she was afraid of being blacked ball by her. As promised, I did. So I helped her get into Marvelous which is another Japanese promotion.

I like to think people change over time. But I can confirm the bad behavior & non supportive attitude in Japan, I was there https://t.co/u1e60bgdE6

This is one of the best explanations I’ve come across. Thanks!
