Superstar Returns To NXT, Aligns With Pat McAfee

Pat McAfee is growing an army to take out the Undisputed Era.

Last week on NXT we saw we saw Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. It was then revealed that they are now heels and have aligned themselves with Pat McAfee. We then learned tonight that McAfee was behind Ridge Holland attacking Adam Cole as he paid him off tonight. Yet tonight we learned of another superstar who has aligned with McAfee in his fight against the Undisputed Era.

While pat McAfee was cutting a promo in the ring tonight flanked by the NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, they were interrupted by Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly made his way down to the ring and he did not think he was outnumbered three on one. He thought it was two on one when the former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne came out to back him up.

Dunne came out with two chairs and handed one to O’Reilly. The two got into the ring as the three heels back out. O’Reilly progressed to the opposite side of the ring by Dunne stayed in the center. This when he then would go on to hit O’Reilly with a steel chair. This then led to Lorcan and Burch giving O’Reilly an assisted DDT on a steel chair.

With Pete Dunne aligning with McAfee, Lorcan, and Burch in their fight against Undisputed Era. This actually ties in a storyline from all the way back in 2018. Back in 2018 Roderick strong was teaming with Roderick Strong when Strong turned on Dunne and aligned with Undisputed Era. Dunne did not speak and say why he has aligned with these three men and that could be the reason.
