Spoiler On John Cena’s WrestleMania Opponent

It was announced on WWE Backstage that John Cena this week that John Cena will be appearing on the February 28th edition of Friday Night Smackdown. Many speculated why and it looks like it will be to set up his opponent for WrestleMania 36.
According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer reported that at the moment the plan for John Cena is for him to face Elias at WrestleMania in Tampa. Meltzer didn’t want to say it at first and BryanAlvarez had to get it out of him.
Meltzer: “Cena’s gonna wrestle at WrestleMania this year. So they’ll probably shoot the angle for that.”
Alvarez: “Who’s he wrestling?”
Meltzer: “Who’s he wrestling? I’ll tell you tomorrow because I’ve actually been told and it’s not like I don’t believe it cause I know it’s probably true, but I can’t believe it. Put it that way. It’s so underwhelming it’s ridiculous. Absolutely confusing and makes no sense.”
Alvarez: “Sounds like either Corbin or Elias.”
Meltzer: “Okay, it’s not Corbin so there you go.”
If you remember last year at WrestleMania Elias was in the ring to do one of his performances and Cena came out dress as the Dr. of Thuganomic and interrupted Elias. Cena also has an altercation with Elias at WrestleMania 34 before he had his encounter with The Undertaker.
