SPOILER: Injured AEW Wrestler Returns At Dark Tapings

One AEW wrestler is no longer out injured.

In 2022 we have seen a lot of AEW stars go down with an injury. It was revealed last night that Kris Statlander is out with an injury. Last night we also saw CM Punk return from injury. At last night’s show, Punk was not the only wrestler to return from an injury.

Last night before AEW Dynamite the company filmed matches for AEW Dark Elevation and those who were there in the building got to see Penelope Ford return from injury. Ford has been out of action for almost seven months. Ford’s last match was a match on AEW Dark where she defeated Angelica Risk. Ford last night took on and defeated Heather Reckless.

It is not fully known what type of injury kept Ford out of action for half of the year. Most did not even realize she was injured till a fan asked about her on Twitter back in early July and Tony Khan responded that she has not bee medically cleared.
