Special Referee Match Planned For SummerSlam

Coming up on August 3rd will be SummerSlam from Cleveland Browns Stadium. So far four things have been announced for the show and one match that is expected may have a special guest referee.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is being reported that Seth Rollins could serve as the special guest referee for the Drew McIntyre versus CM Punk match at SummerSlam. Meltzer last week reported that Rollins is set to be part of the match but that it was not going to be a triple threat, this now gives more context to that original story.
Also this story was backed up and confirmed by WrestleVotes on Twitter who also stated that they have heard of the current plan being Rollins as the referee for this match.
Source states the current plans have Seth Rollins as the special guest referee for the CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre SummerSlam match.
Creative is proceeding under the assumption that Punk will be ready for action, with the anticipated clearance date set for the Monday beforehand,โฆ
