Special Episode Of WWE Backstage Tonight Replace On FS1
October 23, 2020WWE backstage will not air tonight on FS1.
It was announced earlier this week that a special one-hour episode of WWE Backstage would air tonight on FS1 following Friday Night Smackdown. Many fans were excited about that with the possibility of seeing Renee Young and Bookter T back together with whatever co-hosts they have had planned. Yet unfortunately, that is no longer happening.
Revealed on Twitter by the FOX Sports PR account, Talking Smack will air on FS1 following Smackdown instead of WWE Backstage. The show will be hosted by Talking Smack host Kayley Braxton along with WWE Backstage host Booker T and one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions Montez Ford.
Tonight, FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN shifts to FS1, followed by a special edition of TALKING SMACK.

No reason was given as to why Taling Smack will be replacing WWE Backstage tonight, but with Booker T being on the show, that leads one to believe that this may have not been an overnight call. Booker would have had to been flown into Orlando to be part of the show. This will be the first time since Talking Smack was recently brought back that is will air on Friday following Smackdown. Since its revival it has aired on the WWE Network on Saturday mornings.
