Shawn Michaels Reportedly Gets Into Heated Argument Backstage At Takeover

This past weekend was NXT Takeover: In Your House and a comment made backstage really triggered Shawn Michaels.

Shawn Michaels is a big part of NXT when it comes to the backstage aspect of the brand and helping the young talent associated with it. When a conversation came up backstage at Takeover about equality and prejudice that really got to Michaels himself for sure. One person told Michaels everyone already gets treated the same and he did not agree.

According to a report from Fightful, they report that Shawn Michaels got into a heard conversation backstage with an unnamed person at NXT Takeover: In Your House. It seems like the conversation may have been about the current climate in the country right now and Michaels did not agree with this person’s beliefs.

Shawn Michaels was in a heated debate at NXT Takeover In Your House ahead of the show. Michaels was discussing the current social climate with another producer, when said producer mentioned that everyone already gets treated the same. This didn’t sit well with Michaels, we’re told, who broke down systematic prejudice and inequality to the persona in a very heated discussion.

The report goes on to state that NXT Superstars themselves started hearing about this heated conversation on Monday. Itis unclear if this conversation was about the social climate in the country but also the culture within the WWE as well.
